Based in Guimarães, Portugal, Coelima Indústrias Têxteis SA is one of the largest bed-linen production plants in Europe. Founded in 1922 Coelima is still renowned as a high quality weaver and finisher, producing jacquards, colour-woven, print and plain-dye in a wide range of specifications. Supplying finished product throughout Europe, Scandinavia and the US.

Coelima UK operates from its new administrative base and studios in Crawley, West Sussex.

In addition to bespoke work for major UK retailers, Coelima UK markets and distributes the Coelima collection designed specifically for the UK market and incorporating innovative fabrics, classic jacquards and contemporary prints.

Other brands in the Coelima stable are Helena Springfield and Viyella Home.

Softones

Modal is a natural fibre derived from the bark of beech trees. This combination of modal and cotton creates a silky softness, making it the perfect sleeping partner.

This elegant collection of jacquard bed-linen is suppported by a range of plain dyes in white, cream, yellow, stone, dusky pink, willow, sky blue, duck-egg, lilac and heather.

Naturals

Soft and gentle unbleached, undyed jacquards and sateens. Some designs are also available in coloursoft white. A co-ordinating range of plain dyes in both natural unbleached and dyed white is also available.
